CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 

Hello everyone

Hopefully you had a nice weekend. I have bad news, this blog it is my last one ☹, but we still have a blog.

Today I am going to talk about my career in specific about the things that I would like to change in my study programme.  To be honest I don’t ever think about this, however I would like to update or change some of the subject, teaching methods and workload and length of studies.

The first thing that I would to change is the updates in some subjects, because there are subject that are outdated, which means that are useful for the practice. Also, the teachers said things like “these things can be done in a computer”. Other thing that happened to me is that in the last semester I had a subject and I just learn about one topic (one worksheet), I remember that I had three classes about the same exercise of the worksheet.

The second thing that I would like to change is related with the first example, because if a teacher always teaches in same way, we never could learn new things.

The last thing it is the most that I would like to change, because usually the teacher gives us to many homework and not just one, sometimes two or three and on different subject. Usually I think that teachers don't think about their students or that existence of the other subjects. This situation is exhausting. In my opinion making two or three works or being studying for a quiz and exam for a same day is stressful.

Summer Holidays

 

Hello everyone

Hopefully that everybody feels good, today I am going to talk about a plan or idea for summer holidays. To be honest, I don’t have plan at all although I would like to have one haha, but since a little while that I’m thinking about travel to United States for visit my mother.

This idea came to my mind because I miss my mother, she went to USA in March of 2016 (I’m not sure about this date but I am sure about the year) and since then I have only seen her once in Peru 2 years ago. In this trip I would like to go with my sister Carmen or my boyfriend Nicolás, I choose this two person for three reason. The first one is because is my sister and I think that my mother would like to see hers two daughters, the second and third reason is because Nicolás could help me with the language and my mother wants to meet Nicolas.  

I have not thought of any activity because I don’t know if I can travel. Also, I don’t know when I will it. However, my idea is try to travel in July-august (winter vacation) and be able to enjoy the summer there. My mother lives in Chicago state so I searched places for visit online. I would like to Chinatown, 360 Chicago and lake Michigan. Also, I would like to go to other state.

POST GRADUATE STUDIES

 

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about post-graduate studies. To be honest I don’t know what do in the future but I think that if I would study something like course, an option would be a magister or mention in the forest and it’s environment or ecology because at this moment these options are the most interesting for me although the second option is the most likely that I would choose hahaha.

I hope that any of these options has a relation with subjects like process and behavior of forest, adaptability to changes of climate or its environment. I think that I will like this subject and also, I should master in the future.

I would like to study in other countries because maybe in other countries I could know many things of different forest and compare with the forest of Chile, this way I could complement or add new information that helps do new sustainable management of forests of chile. But if I would not have a possibility of study abroad, I would like to study in the south of Chile, and I think that choose the Austral University. 

I think I would like to study with a system part-time course because I would try to search for a job to pay for my study, house, and food.  Also, by having this system I could meet the place.

MY FUTURE JOB

 

Hello everyone 

 Hopefully you had a nice weekend like me, today I am going to talk about my future job or about what I think that I would like to do.

To be honest, I don't have a clear idea about my future job, but I would like to work in something related with ecology, in specific about topics related the forest processes. I think that for this job the most important thing is the investigation, which can be done in terrain or indoor. (read or make paper of investigations). 

I would like to travel and meet new place, I think that with this job I could do it (travel), because i could know more about the forest in specific the place that I'm doing a research.  

I never think about salary because it's not something that really matters to me, to be honest if I like the job, I will be happy without import money and the place. 

At the present I go to third grade of the university and I don’t know about a major study I would choose in the future. However, I would like to specialize in forest ecology, because in this moment is the most interesting topic for me. Other thing that i would like to study is conservation of the nature but I’m not sure yet.

My Career

 

Hello friends, today I am going to talk about how I choose my currently career, let’s begin.

My first option was odontology because I always loved went to the dentist, it was so relaxing that sometimes I fell sleep in the dentist´s chair hahaha. However, one day my dentist said " you should study something else, because there is not too much work. When she told me that I felt disappointed.  In that moment I didn’t know what to do because, my dream in that moment was be a dentist. (I think that was in 2017, when I was in 4th grade).

Also, in the “Preuniversitario”, the career counselor told me the same thing and she recommend a career about nature like Agronomy, Forestry Engineer or Marine biology. The career that most keep my attention was Forestry Engineer.

 the thing that made me took the final decision was that the Universidad Austral invited me for one weekend. In there was where I took the decision of Forestry Engineer.

In my first day on the university I was so nervous, I thought that I wouldn’t make new friends but the first people that I met were my group of study and party of friends hahaha.

However, nothing can be to cool because when the activities finish, I went to the bus stop and took the bus, in there almost I get robbed ☹.

MOVIES (BEST MOVIE/BEST DIRECTOR/BEST GENRE)

Hello everyone

The topic that I choose to today is the best movie, to be honest, I have not a  favorite movie or I don’t remember in this moment but the  last time I watched  a movie and I was so excited when i watched. The movie is called "HEREDITARY".

This movie is of the genre terror and thriller, it was written and produce by Ari Aster, the movie is about the family Graham in special Annie ( the Mother of this family), she after the dead of her mother and daughter, she realize that her family it bewitched and her son is in danger because is a men and should die.

In the begging I didn’t want to  watch this movie because I don’t like to genre the terror or thriller and I always have nightmare or I can’t sleep well,  that’s  why I close my eyes in every part of the movie. however, that day I didn’t close my eyes because the movie was good and interesting, the actors make me feel so uncomfortable and at the since time, I felt empathy with the protagonist. I remember saying "run! why you don’t kill her/him? And he/she deserves it ".

 This director also produces “MIDSOMMAR” (MISDSOMMAR also I recommend but is a little weird and crazy).

 

The best concert

I remember that when I was between 14-16 years old, I loved Calle 13 and always dreamt to see them in a concert,  but in 2015, this band break up so I thought I never might see or listen in a live-show , however in 2017 “RESIDENTE” (The singer of Calle 13) announced that he was going to do a tour in Latino America. When a friend told me about this, I was so happy and excited so I told my sister to went together, but she couldn’t  go that day ( I don’t remember the month and  the day of the concert) so I went alone.

The day of the concert I was nervous because I never went to Movistar arenas. I was afraid to be lost, however nothing of the this happen. When the concert started, I was so happy, Rene (Residente) started to talk about social issue and his past. The first song was of the new album and the three next songs was too, when the third song was over “atrevete-te-te” suddenly start, in that moment I started to scream and dance as if tomorrow never come.

I think he played five songs of Calle 13 and in that moment the people sang along and started to jump, I remember that the crowd started to yell “la polera” hahaha and Rene answer “No, estoy muy Viejo”.   

When I arrived at my house I was so tired and I forgot that I had test of math the next day.
